Sexual Harassment Bullying

Sexual Harassment Bullying can be defined as any type of hostile or intimidating conduct that is also sexual in nature. Sexual harassment and bullying often go hand in hand, both in schools and in the workplace. Anyone can become the victim of sexual harassment bullying; it is not something that only persons in higher positions do or something that can only happen to those in lower positions. However, it often does involve intimidation that causes an individual to feel threatened and to feel as if his or her position may be compromised. Sexual harassment is considered unlawful under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based sexual status. Bullying that it not of a sexual nature, but that is deemed to have occurred because of sexual discrimination is also considered to be sexual harassment. Both men and women may be the victims or the aggressors in cases of sexual harassment bullying.
