Public sexual harassment is when an instance of sexual harassment occurs in a public setting. This may be an instance of improper touching on a street or on the subway. A person may grope another on a bus or on the dance floor of a club. Public sexual harassment can consist of lewd and uncalled for remarks made by men or women on a street corner or on a construction site. The remarks, actions or behavior comprising public sexual harassment are uncalled for, unwanted and unwarranted by the victim. In many instances, charges of public harassment pass unremarked.
