Avoiding harassment that is sexual in nature is easy in theory but quite another concept in practice. Today's world is very competitive and cut throat. Many believe that if their boss does not like them that they will have limited opportunities and have a higher likelihood of being terminated. This leaves some people more vulnerable to sexual harassment if there is an indication that they will not report the incident. To avoid sexual harassment though, one must let the person doing the harassing know that the behavior is not acceptable to them. After this indication of uninviting, the victim has the right to report the incident if the behavior persists. However, to completely avoid sexual harassment from the beginning, it is suggested to:1. Not wear provocative clothing (if you are a woman). 2. Try to limit conversation at work to light topics. 3. If you are invited on a romantic date, you should be in public for the first few meetings at minimum. 4. Not exchange long glances with people of the opposite sex. 5. Never tell anyone about your love life, even if they are of the same sex and seem interested.
