File Sexual Harassment

To file sexual harassment is to submit a claim that you have been sexual harassed. Sexual harassment can be considered any action that involves unwelcome sexual advances or promises of favors in exchange for sex, or simply any conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with an individual's ability to work. The first rule of sexual harassment is that the victim should make it clear to the harasser that the conduct is unwelcome. After that, if the conduct continues, the victim should immediately report the incident. It is illegal for an individual to be punished for refusing sexual advances or for filing a charge of sexual harassment against an employer, a co-worker, or even a non-employee. Sexual harassment is a form of sexual discrimination, and is thus unlawful due to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
