Former Manager of Justin Timberlake’s Restaurant Files Sexual Harassment Charge
Staff Writer, May 15, 2009
Alison McDaniel, the former manager of one of pop star Justin Timberlake’s many restaurants, recently filed a lawsuit against two of her co-workers for sexual harassment. According to her claim, the men were forcing her to watch pornographic videos while she was at work, and were making fun of her reaction.
The men, Eytan Sugarman and Ronnie Kaplan, were Timberlake’s business partners. According to the suit, McDaniel was fired after she issued a written complaint about the sexual harassment to the restaurant, Southern Hospitality. The woman is also attempting to sue Timberlake. However, one of his representatives issued a statement saying that he is not an investor, an owner a partner or in any way involved in the operations of the restaurant.
McDaniel did not file a suit with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission before she filed the sexual harassment suit, so she may not be able to file for wrongful termination, on account of retaliation.
